Learning to balance on two wheels starts long before pedals arrive. The Banwood Balance Bike gives children from around 2.5 years a lightweight, proportioned frame they can push and glide on at their own pace, building the coordination and confidence that makes the move to a pedal bike feel natural rather than daunting. The steel frame weighs 4.5kg and adjusts from a 40cm seat height to 50cm, fitting children through five years of age without needing to be replaced. The ergonomic saddle and handgrips are sized for small hands and shorter reach. A wicker basket on the front and a classic bell are included, giving little riders the full Banwood look from day one. Designed to last through the balance-learning stage and survive the daily exits, drops, and weather that come with outdoor play, the Banwood Balance Bike is a considered first ride rather than a stepping-stone toy.
