Wigiwama Flipster

The Wigiwama Flipster is the larger, more configurable version of Wigiwama's fold-out chair concept. Three separate foam pieces unfold from a compact 78 × 67 × 57 cm seat to a 156 × 67 × 16 cm flat lounger in seconds, with the added flexibility that three pieces brings to the arrangement: stacked as a chair, partially open as a lounger, or fully flat as a mattress or play fort floor. The fold-out floor chair is designed for children up to 130cm tall (approximately 9 years old), though the proportions make it comfortable for adults too.

Two fabric options cover the three foam pieces. Corduroy is wide-wale, made from recycled PET bottles, and carries both OEKO-TEX and GRS certification. Teddy uses 100% polyester with a soft, plush surface and OEKO-TEX certification. Each piece has its own removable zip cover for hand washing. With three covers in the set, washing in rotation keeps the Flipster usable without a prolonged wait.

Made in Latvia to the same material standard as the wider Wigiwama range, the Flipster is available in three Corduroy colours: Brown Sugar, Pink Mousse, and Peppermint Green, and two Teddy options: Cream and Biscuit. The clean profile sits as naturally in a living room as a playroom, and the three-piece build compacts to less than half the open length for storage.

Remove each cover using the zip fastening. Hand wash only. Do not machine wash. Air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Washing the three covers in rotation means the Flipster remains usable while covers dry.

Three pieces give the Flipster more range than a standard fold-out chair. Not just flat or upright, but every position in between. That, combined with both Corduroy and Teddy fabric options and a size that works for children and adults, makes it the most versatile piece in the Wigiwama range at a price that reflects what it does rather than just what it is.

What is the difference between the Flipster and the Wigiwama Flip Chair?

The Flipster is larger (156 cm open vs 150 cm), built from three pieces rather than two, and available in both Corduroy and Teddy fabrics. The Flip Chair is corduroy only. The three-piece design allows more configuration options, including partial opens and play fort arrangements. The Flipster is also sized for children up to 130 cm and comfortable for adults; the Flip Chair has no stated height limit.
