What is the difference between the Flipster and the Wigiwama Flip Chair?
The Flipster is larger (156 cm open vs 150 cm), built from three pieces rather than two, and available in both Corduroy and Teddy fabrics. The Flip Chair is corduroy only. The three-piece design allows more configuration options, including partial opens and play fort arrangements. The Flipster is also sized for children up to 130 cm and comfortable for adults; the Flip Chair has no stated height limit.
How does the three-piece design work?
The three foam pieces fit together to form a compact seat when stacked. They can be partially unfolded to create a reclining lounger, or fully opened flat to form a 156 cm mattress or play surface. The pieces separate completely, which also means they can be rearranged independently as seating or play elements.
What ages and sizes is the Flipster suitable for?
It is designed for children up to 130 cm tall, which is approximately 9 years old, though the 156 cm open length and 67 cm width also makes it comfortable for adults to use as a lounger or guest mattress.
What fabric options are available?
The Flipster is available in Corduroy (OEKO-TEX and GRS certified wide-wale fabric made from recycled PET bottles) in Brown Sugar, Pink Mousse, and Peppermint Green. Teddy fabric (OEKO-TEX certified, 100% polyester) is available in Cream and Biscuit.
How are the covers washed?
Each of the three pieces has its own zip cover that removes independently. Hand wash only and air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Washing in rotation means you can keep the other two pieces in use while one cover dries.
