Plenty of play tents look the same once the novelty wears off. What drew us to this one is the tulle front: it softens the doorway, lets the light in and turns a simple cotton teepee into something that looks at home in a bedroom rather than a toy shop. MINICAMP is a family business in Lithuania and hand-sews its tents there.

Rose with matching rose tulle is the softest of the four colours, and it works well alongside MINICAMP's rose playmats and cushions.

What age is this teepee suitable for?

MINICAMP recommends it for ages 3 and up, and it is not suitable for children under 36 months. As with any play tent, it is best used with an adult nearby, and placed well away from fires, heaters and candles.

How much space does it need?

The teepee stands 165 cm tall with a 120 cm inside diameter and a 90 cm high entrance, so plan for a clear circle of floor at least 120 cm across, with a little extra room in front of the doorway.

Is it easy to put up?

It is designed to be assembled by an adult. It comes with printed instructions and a video guide, and the frame uses vertical and horizontal wooden poles that hold the shape once assembled.

What is it made from, and can it be washed?

The cover is 100% cotton and the tulle and pom-poms are polyester, all OEKO-TEX certified. The poles are FSC certified wood. MINICAMP's care advice for the cover is to wash at 30°C, avoid tumble drying and iron while damp.

Is a playmat included?

No. The teepee comes with the cover, poles, a decorative rope with a pom-pom at each end, and assembly instructions. A matching playmat and large floor cushion are sold separately.
