Wigiwama Beanbag Chair & Square Ottoman Set

The Wigiwama Beanbag Chair and Square Ottoman Set pairs the two pieces in a single order: the beanbag chair with its ergonomic back support and the square ottoman as footrest, low seat, or play surface. Both items are made to the same OEKO-TEX standard, in the same fabric and colour, and ship together in one box.

Three fabric options are available. Corduroy comes in six colours: Pink Mousse, Blueberry Blue, Peppermint Green, Brown Sugar, Marshmallow and Toffee. The wide-wale Corduroy is made from recycled PET bottles and carries both OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification. Teddy comes in six colours: Matcha, Guava, Cream White, Maple, Biscuit and Warm Hazel, in OEKO-TEX certified 100% polyester with a soft, plush finish. Both Corduroy and Teddy covers are machine washable at 30°C. Terrazzo, available in Marble, Moss and Sand, is a woven blend of bouclé and chenille carrying OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GRS certification; Terrazzo covers are handwash or machine-washable on a hand-wash cycle.

The beanbag chair measures 70cm wide, 60cm deep and 42cm high, with EPS bead filling and a Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX certified inner shell. The square ottoman is 60 × 60 × 20cm, EPS filled with an OEKO-TEX certified polyester inner shell. At 20cm high, the ottoman sits at exactly the right height alongside the beanbag as a footrest. Both pieces are made in Latvia.

Corduroy and Terrazzo fabric carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GRS certification. Teddy fabric is OEKO-TEX certified, 100% polyester. Inner shells are OEKO-TEX certified. EPS bead filling throughout. Suitable for children aged three and over.

Corduroy and Teddy: remove each cover using the zip fastening and machine wash at 30°C on a synthetic cycle. Air dry only. Do not tumble dry.

Terrazzo: handwash or machine wash on a hand-wash cycle with similar colours. Hang to dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach.

The inner shells and EPS bead filling are not suitable for washing on any fabric option.

What fabric options are available and how do they differ?

Corduroy (six colours: Pink Mousse, Blueberry Blue, Peppermint Green, Brown Sugar, Marshmallow, Toffee) is wide-wale fabric made from recycled PET bottles, certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GRS. Teddy (six colours: Matcha, Guava, Cream White, Maple, Biscuit, Warm Hazel) is soft 100% polyester with OEKO-TEX certification. Terrazzo (three colours: Marble, Moss, Sand) is a woven bouclé and chenille blend with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GRS certification at a higher price point.

Can the covers be washed?

Corduroy and Teddy covers fasten with a zip and are machine washable at 30°C on a synthetic cycle — air dry after. Terrazzo covers are handwash or machine-washable on a hand-wash cycle, hung to dry. The inner shells and EPS filling should not be washed on any option.

Does the ottoman sit at the right height alongside the beanbag chair?

Yes. The ottoman is 20cm high and 60 × 60cm, which positions it correctly as a footrest when used with the 42cm-high beanbag chair. The square footprint also allows it to sit flush against walls or furniture when not in use.

What age is the set suitable for?

Both pieces are recommended for children aged three and above. The beanbag chair at 70cm wide and 42cm high is proportioned for this age range, and the ottoman at 20cm high is practical for young children to use independently as a footrest or low seat.

Why is the Terrazzo set priced differently?

The Terrazzo fabric is a premium woven blend of bouclé and chenille, which carries a higher material cost than the Corduroy and Teddy options. The same certified standards apply across all three fabrics; the price difference reflects the material itself.
