Every board is finished with a certified oil that meets the European PN-EN 71-3 safety standard, and the edges are smoothed and rounded so little hands and feet stay comfortable. Most colourways add a felt panel to the underside for extra grip and floor protection, and a few felt options carry printed dashed road markings, doubling the board as a ramp for toy cars once the balancing is done.

Wipe the oiled wood surface clean with a damp cloth. On felt-covered variants, clean the felt gently with a damp cloth only. Felt naturally pills with use, which is a normal feature of the material and does not affect the board's function. Keep the felt away from prolonged moisture, as damp felt can start to lift from the board. Always supervise children while they use the balance board.

A balance board earns its keep well past the first few weeks: once the wobbling gets easy, the same curved plank still works as a tunnel, a bridge, or with the road-marked felt facing up, a ramp for the rest of the toy box.

What age is this balance board suitable for?

Recommended from 3 years old, always under adult supervision. Adults can also use the board within its 200kg maximum load.
