What age is this ball pit suitable for?
The Monio Velvet Round Ball Pit is suitable from 6 months. The 30cm wall height suits younger babies and smaller spaces; the 40cm wall height provides more containment for active toddlers. Always use with adult supervision.
What is the difference between the 30cm and 40cm sizes?
Both sizes have the same 90cm inner diameter. The wall height is the only difference: 30cm is lower and better suited to babies learning to sit; 40cm offers more depth and is better for confident crawlers and active toddlers who tend to throw balls rather than sort them.
How many balls do I need for a 90cm ball pit?
As a guide, 200 to 300 balls create a good play depth in a 90cm ball pit without overfilling. Use the ball selector on this page to add balls in packs of 50 and choose your colours.
Is the cover removable and washable?
Yes. The velvet cover zips off fully and is machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Low-pile velvet holds its surface well through washing without pilling. Reshape while damp and air dry fully. The inner structure should be spot cleaned only.
