Gonks have become a Christmas favourite, and a whole family of them on the mantelpiece is hard to resist.

This red velvet stocking has a soft plush white cuff, two white pompoms and a hoop for hanging. On the front, a gonk peeps over the top of a little white pocket that carries the name in a black script.

Each gonk is different. The boy has a striped hat and a candy cane, the girl has plaits, a bow on her hat and a present, the mum has a long plait and holds a bauble, and the dad has a spotty hat, a white beard and a lantern. The name can be up to 12 characters and is printed exactly as you type it, so please avoid block capitals.

At about 28 x 47cm, it holds a good haul of small gifts. Order one gonk for each person and the stockings make a matching family set.

How long will it take to arrive?

Each stocking is made to order, then sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so please allow 2 to 5 business days in total. Orders placed after midday, or at the weekend, start from the next working day.

Can I return a personalised stocking?

Because it is personalised and made to order, it can't be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives faulty or damaged, or the personalisation isn't what you ordered, please get in touch and we'll put it right.

Is it suitable for a baby?

It is a decoration rather than a toy and is not suitable for children under 36 months without adult supervision, so hang it out of reach of a baby or young toddler.
