Personalised Holly Christmas Stocking

Christmas morning in most houses starts at the fireplace, usually earlier than the adults would like, and a stocking with the right name on it saves a surprising amount of negotiation.

This velvet stocking has a soft plush white cuff, two white pompoms on a cord and a loop at the top for hanging. The name is printed down the leg in a flowing script, between small sprigs of holly and stars, so it reads clearly from across the room. Choose deep red or silver grey.

The name can be up to 12 characters. It is printed exactly as you type it, so capitals and spelling are worth a second look before you order.

The red stocking measures about 28 x 47cm and the grey about 28 x 50cm, a good size for small presents and sweets.

Red velvet is the classic, but we chose this design partly for the silver grey, which suits a pared-back room with white walls and natural greenery far better than another red and green stocking would. The holly sprigs are small and the script is the main event, so it feels personal without looking busy. If you are buying for more than one child, the two colours sit well side by side.

Very nearly. The red stocking is about 28 x 47cm and the grey is about 28 x 50cm.

How long will it take to arrive?

Each stocking is made to order, then sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so please allow 2 to 5 business days in total. Orders placed after midday, or at the weekend, start from the next working day.

Can I return a personalised stocking?

Because it is personalised and made to order, it can't be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives faulty or damaged, or the personalisation isn't what you ordered, please get in touch and we'll put it right.

Is it suitable for a baby?

It is a decoration rather than a toy and is not suitable for children under 36 months without adult supervision, so hang it out of reach of a baby or young toddler.
