Personalised New Baby Moon and Stars Mantel Block

The first details anyone asks about a new baby are the name, the date, the weight and the time. This block keeps all four together.

This white wooden block has soft grey watercolour clouds on the left carrying the first name in a grey script and the surname in capitals. A crescent moon holds the date, two hanging stars hold the weight, and a sun on the right holds the time of birth.

The two names take up to 12 characters each, the date up to 20, each star up to 4 (for example "7lb" and "6oz"), and the sun up to 5 characters for the time plus AM or PM. The surname, date and time appear in capitals; please avoid block capitals for the first name and weights.

At about 27 x 9.5cm, it stands on a mantelpiece or shelf. It is made from solid wood, so it may show small natural imperfections.

Keep it dry and dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth. It is made from solid wood, so it may show small natural imperfections.

Every detail has its own place in the picture, so the birth announcement reads like an illustration rather than a list, and it stays lovely on a shelf for years.

How long will it take to arrive?

Each decoration is made to order, then sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so please allow 2 to 5 business days in total. Orders placed after midday, or at the weekend, start from the next working day.

Can I return a personalised decoration?

Because it is personalised and made to order, it can't be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives faulty or damaged, or the personalisation isn't what you ordered, please get in touch and we'll put it right.

Nestoro is run by James and Agata, two parents who spent too many evenings searching marketplaces for children's things that looked good and were made to last, and decided to do something about it.

Many of the pieces in our own range are personalised and made to order, with the name or message you choose added before your order is sent out.
