Wigiwama Square Ottoman

The Wigiwama Square Ottoman is a generous 60 × 60 cm surface that works as a footrest beside a sofa, a low extra seat in a playroom, or a soft platform for children during floor play. The square format gives it a more furniture-like footprint than a round pouffe. It sits flush against walls and corners, holds its shape under daily use, and takes the casual repositioning that comes with any room that has children in it.

Two fabric options cover an EPS-filled inner shell with an OEKO-TEX certified polyester lining. Corduroy is wide-wale, made from recycled PET bottles, and carries both OEKO-TEX and GRS certification. Teddy uses 100% polyester with a soft, plush surface and OEKO-TEX certification. Both versions fasten with a zip for easy cover removal and washing. The Corduroy range includes a broader set of colours, adding Pink Mousse, Peppermint Green, Marshmallow, and Blueberry Blue alongside the tones shared with the Teddy line.

Made in Latvia alongside the rest of the Wigiwama range, the Square Ottoman maintains the brand's consistent position on certified materials and local production. At 20cm high and 60cm square it pairs naturally with the Wigiwama Settee as a footstool, though it works just as well independently in a bedroom or reading corner.

Remove the cover using the zip fastening. Wash according to the care instructions for the chosen fabric. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Air dry only. For Teddy fabric, a light brush between washes helps maintain the plush texture.

The square footprint is a practical choice that a round pouffe cannot replicate. It sits squarely against furniture, takes up the space it occupies without gaps, and holds its shape consistently with EPS filling. The Corduroy version's extended colour range, including shades not available elsewhere in the Wigiwama line, makes it the more interesting decorating option of the two.

Teddy is 100% polyester with a soft, plush surface and OEKO-TEX certification, available in five colours. Both use the same EPS filling and OEKO-TEX certified inner shell, and are made in Latvia.

How is this different from the Wigiwama Cloud Pouffe?

The Square Ottoman is larger at 60 × 60 cm compared to 39.5 cm diameter, and sits lower at 20cm versus 25cm. The square format is better suited to pairing with a sofa or settee as a footstool, while the Cloud Pouffe's round shape and taller profile work well as a standalone seat or play piece. The Square Ottoman also uses EPS filling rather than polyurethane foam.

Can the cover be removed and washed?

Yes. The cover fastens with a zip and removes easily for washing. Follow the care guidelines for the specific fabric. Air dry only. Do not bleach or tumble dry. For Teddy fabric, a light brush after washing helps restore the texture.
